U.S. Marine Pfc. Matthew Worth scrubs a Japanese Decontamination Truck during a simulated joint study at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma on July 13, 2017. The event tested the Marines' and Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response capabilities to a chemical attack on a flight line. The simulated mission allowed the Marines and the JGSDF to react as if the air strip was under a CBRN attack and share their capabilities with each other. Worth, a native of Pemberton, New Jersey, is a CBRN defense specialist with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 1 (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Kelsey Dornfeld).
