U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, the commanding general of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, speaks with U.S. Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, in an undisclosed location in the Middle East, July 6, 2017. Townsend spoke with the Marines about the importance of tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel missions and recognized Marines for excellence while supporting SPMAGTF-CR-CC.
