U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. William White, 774th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, conducts pre-flight checks aboard a C-130H Hercules before a transport mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Jan 6. C-130s are able to land on runways that many other cargo aircraft are unable to, making them invaluable when moving passengers and cargo.
