Japanese contractors with the 836th Transportation Battalion, load a Sonar Rubber Dome Window onto the MS Manyoshi Maru at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, July 14, 2017. The Maru, a general cargo ship, is slated to deliver the sonar to Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. MCAS Iwakuni is the only Marine Corps installation with a co-located airport and seaport, providing strategic capabilities to U.S. forces in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
