Cpl. George Hawkins, 733rd Engineering Company, Greenville, Tenn., uses a water cannon to clean construction equipment, a routine maintenance procedure, during Resolute Castle 17, at Cincu, Romania, June 15, 2017. Hawkins, works as a store manager at Advance Auto Parts and traveled to Romania from his home in Clinton, Tenn. with fellow Army Engineers to construct a maneuver training range. Once completed this facility will allow combat arms units from the U.S., Allied forces and partner nations, the opportunity to hone their warfighting skills and improve their lethality in the European theater. Resolute Castle 2017 is a U.S. Army Reserve led, United States Army Europe sponsored, Multi-Component, Multi-National Engineer Readiness Training Exercise. Resolute Castle improves interoperability, enhances confidence and security assurance between partner nations, and improve infrastructure, capability and capacity at select locations.
