Marines with Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron (MTACS) 38 work inside the smaller tactical air direction center (TADC), during exercise HYDRA 1-17, at East Miramar, California, June 6. HYDRA 1-17 simulated ship-to-shore movement by employing a TADC and integrated with a Navy tactical air control center (NTACC). A TADC is a task-organized site which performs all or most of the Marine TACC functions but is employed in a subordinate role. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Harley Robinson/released)
