Deck department sailors lower a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat from the starboard side of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, using a vest davit while the Sailors in the RHIB man the monkey lines. RHIBs are used to transport personnel, as recue craft and for visit, board, search and seizure. Ronald Reagan is currently underway off the coast of California preparing for an upcoming deployment.
