Some of the tools Wildlife Biologist Tim Wilder of the Directorate of Public Works Natural Resources Branch uses for a bull-snake survey lie on a table April 14, 2015, at Fort McCoy, Wis., that Wilder uses to determine the health of bull snakes on post. As part of the survey, Wilder checks length, weight, and age and implants a microchip used to identify the snake in future surveys. The largest bull snake Wilder has measured in previous surveys was more than 6 feet long. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T. Sturkol, Public Affairs Office, Fort McCoy, Wis.)
