Petty Officer 3rd Class Kevin Pollack, a corpsman with Delta Company, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), begins triage as Marines and sailors participate in a mass casualty drill Jan. 19, 2011. The drill simulated how the base would respond to an attack causing multiple casualties. The Marines and sailors carried the victims to the medical aid station for triage. The Marines and sailors of Delta Company said the drill was a success and helped better prepare them for an emergency.
