Marvin Jensen, senior Observer Trainer for the Medical Readiness Training Command out of San Antonio, Tx., gives feedback on status reports briefed during the day-to-night shift change by 3d Medical Command (Deployment Support) soldiers participating as a joint level command staff in the Global Medic 2017 Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. for three weeks. The Global Medic CSTX is held simultaneously at various locations from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., to Fort Devens, Mass., Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., Camp Roberts and Camp Parks, Calif. Global Medic is a situational scenario-based simulation exercise focused on the development of 80% strategic/operational and 20% joint medical and tactical skills.
