1st Sgt. Alexander Worth from 206th Area Support Medical Company (ASMC), supporting the 332nd Medical Brigade, waits for ambulances to arrive with casualties to begin simulated medical treatment on manikins with varied injuries during the Global Medic 2017 Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Camp Roberts, Calif. 206th ASMC, supporting the 332nd Medical Brigade, 3d Medical Command (Deployment Support), participated in the event as apart of the premier health support provider to the combined joint task force that included military members from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, along with medical professionals from the Canadian Army and Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The full range of medical capabilities support provided by the Joint Task Force honed skills in providing medical services such as ambulatory care, medical evacuation, x-ray, laboratory and dental services, preventive medicine, advanced trauma management, pharmacy, and clinical services. Global Medic is a situational scenario-based simulation exercise focused on the development of 80% strategic/operational and 20% joint medical and tactical skills and is held simultaneously at various locations from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., to Fort Devens, Mass., Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., Camp Roberts and Camp Parks, Calif.
