Sgt. Jason Comfort, a bandsman and an armory security Marine, with 1st Marine Division (Forward) Headquarters Battalion, practices for the 70th anniversary ceremony of the 1st Marine Division, Jan. 30. The ceremony is scheduled to be celebrated here at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Feb. 1. The Marines rehearsed jazz and funk songs, such as, “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “Brooklyn,” and “Chameleon.”
