NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del. - Airman First Class Andrew Valladares, intelligence analyst, 166th Airlift Wing, hides form law enforcement while playing the role of an escaped suspect during Exercise Vigilant Diamond on August 5, 2017. Response capabilities of base personnel were tested during simulated events that arose during various phases of the exercise. Members of the Delaware Air National Guard responded to scenarios including an active shooter incident, hazardous materials incident, and an explosive ordinance device sighting.
