Soldiers with Joint Task Force 71 check essential equipment left outside, place snow-chains on their tires and clear the windshields of ice after a winter storm in Fort Worth, Feb. 1. JTF 71, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is in the area to support civil authorities during the weeks leading up to Super Bowl 45. Prior to departing for this mission, the units developed strategies to ensure their equipment is ready to deploy in spite of inclement weather.
