42 Romeo, a Music Performance Team (MPT) from the 34th Army Band, of Fairfield, Iowa, make a guest appearance at the Iowa National Guard’s 7th annual Adjutant General’s Summer Concert Series at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa, on July 6, 2017. 42 Romeo, named after the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) designation for Army musicians – 42R – is a rock band which covers songs by popular artists like Evanescence, Aerosmith and Sia. MPTs have allowed the 34th Army Band to travel across the state of Iowa, meeting and interacting with various communities in a new and unique way. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
