The go ahead to fire is given by range safety officers while soldiers selected by 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, as soldiers of the month while deployed with the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa in Djibouti, were offered the opportunity to participate in a limited AT4 live fire exercise at a range along the southern coast of the Gulf of Tadjoura, Aug. 22, 2017. The AT4 is a shoulder fired anti-tank weapon which is disposable after just one use, making it a special opportunity of limited use for live fire training exercises.
