A U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal remote-controlled robot is used during a training mission to demonstrate its ability to approach, inspect and handle possible IED's. ISAF's mission is to provide support to Afghanistan in creating a functioning government and administration structure, while preserving Afghan traditions and culture.
