U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Brad Penley, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 3, operates a remote-controlled robot during a training mission on Camp Griffin. The robot is used to approach, inspect and handle possible IED's. ISAF's mission is to provide support to Afghanistan in creating a functioning government and administration structure, while preserving Afghan traditions and culture.
