A Pensacola, Fla., native, Spc. Austin Keener, a parachute rigger with the 647th Quartermaster Company, helps pack a G11 parachute on Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 22. Parachutes like this were used to fly in heavy equipment and materials during a recent Joint Operation Access Exercise. “We pack our chutes live every time,” Sgt. Matthew Butler, a production non-commissioned officer with the 647th Quartermaster Co. “Whether it’s for training or a warzone, it’s going to work regardless.”
