    USS Frank Cable (AS 40)

    PORTLAND, Ore. (Aug. 25, 2017) Roderick Gozun, a Military Sealift Command civilian mariner assigned to the Deck Department of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), watches as the ship undergoes a fleeting while in dry-dock Aug. 25. The fleeting shifts the position of the ship in order to repair the underbelly of the vessel. Frank Cable, currently in Portland for a scheduled dry-dock phase maintenance availability, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
