Soldiers assigned to the 101st Airborne Division Band provided a music ensemble in support of the Southeast Medical Area Readiness Support Group Change of Command ceremony held on Saturday, August 26, 2017. U.S. Army Reserve Col. Scott Lynn, outgoing commander for SE-MARSG, relinquished command to incoming commander, Col. Bradley Nindl, at the ceremony held at Command Sergeant Major Huff U.S. Army Reserve Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The Change of Command ceremony symbolizes the continuation of leadership and unit identity despite the change of individual authority. It also represents the transfer of power from one leader to another; passing the ceremonial flag from outgoing to incoming commander is a physical representation of that transfer.
