Master Sgt. Harry Smith, 359th Transportation Battalion talks to Al Hydeman, Honda Smart Trainer representative, about the different scenarios offered as part of the Honda SMARTrainer Program. The program is designed to give the rider different real world scenario’s that could happen on the road in a simulated setting to give him chance to learn from mistakes without real world consequences. The SMARTrainer’s instruction complements and reinforces the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s SEE strategy for managing risk: Search, Evaluate, Execute. The training was sponsored by 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) safety office.
