MELBOURNE, Australia (Aug. 31, 2017) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Airman Jalon Wilson, from Baton Rouge, La., assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), plays basketball with a child during a community relations event at the Helping Hoops Richmond Basketball Clinic. Helping Hoops is a multicultural organization that runs free basketball programs for underprivileged children in Melbourne, Australia. Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), was in Melbourne for a scheduled port visit to connect with the community and afford personnel the opportunity to experience Australian culture.
