Oregon National Guard Soldiers and Airmen learn how to search for hotspots during firefighting training at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Salem, Oregon, September 2, 2017. They are also trained on proper care and safety of equipment, water streams on hotspots, protective shelter deployment, hazard materials safety, and using water pumps.
