POINT LOOKOUT, New York (Sept. 11, 2017) Chief select Danielle Marbley, assigned to Navy Recruiting District New York, taking a rubbing from the Point Lookout September 11th Memorial of Chief Information Systems Technician Gregg Smallwood, who died during the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. Marbley and other Sailors living in New York stood alongside members of the FDNY for the unveiling of the memorial, which includes a steel beam from the World Trade Center, plaques with the names of the victims, an elevated walkway and additional plaques with the names of first responders who have passed away from illnesses related to recovery efforts at ground zero.
