PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – An aviator assigned to Company C, 6th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), positions a section of ramp outside a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft of the 433rd Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command. Soldiers and airmen unloaded HH-60 medevac Black Hawk helicopters at Patrick AFB as part of the 101st Abn. Div.’s preparations to support possible Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division has not received orders to deploy personnel or equipment to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
