PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Soldiers of Company C, 6th Battalion, 101st General Support Aviation Battalion, Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), and airmen of 433rd Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, unload an HH-60 medevac Black Hawk helicopter off a U.S. Air Force C-5M Super Galaxy. The air load operation is part of the 101st Abn. Div.’s preparations to support possible Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division has not received orders to deploy personnel or equipment to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency.
