Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Cannon, aviation support equipment technician, installs a battery compartment panel on a T5 hydraulic generator on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge. T5 hydraulic generators provide power to aircraft performing pre-flight hydraulics checks. Kearsarge is the command ship of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
