U.S. Army Brig. Gen. David Wilson, the 40th Chief of the Ordnance and Commandant of the United States Army Ordnance School, awards Staff Sgt. Adam Ritter with the Army Commendation Medal during the closing ceremony for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team of the Year at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Sept. 15, 2017. The U.S. Army Ordnance Crucible is a three-part competition, comprised of the Ammunition Transfer Holding Point, Combat Repair Team, and now on their final course the Explosive Ordnance Disposal, which is designed to get Soldiers' teamwork and critical thinking skills.
