A U.S Marine with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) guides a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement carrying disaster relief supplies on to U.S. Navy Landing Craft, Utility1654 aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) in the Caribbean Sea, Sept. 26, 2017. The 26th MEU is supporting Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the lead federal agency, in helping those affected by Hurricane Maria to minimize suffering and is one component of the overall whole-of-government response effort.
