A Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector, also called a Husky, scans an area for land mines and improvised explosive devices during a route clearance mission in Zabul province, Afghanistan, March 25. The Husky is a single occupant, mine protected vehicle, that seek out buried land mines and IEDs for investigation and neutralization.
