Joseph Vigil, broadcaster, American Forces Network, Naples, Italy, documents a Vehicle Mounted Mine Detector, or Husky, as it scans an area for land mines and improvised explosive devices during a route clearance mission in Zabul province, Afghanistan, March 25. The Husky is a single occupant, mine protected vehicle that seek out buried land mines and IEDs for investigation and neutralization.
