Capt. Nathaniel Turner, physician’s assistant, along with medics Spc. Joseph Allen, Sgt. Joshua Serrano and Spc. Ryan Devanna, 86th Combat Support Hospital, prepare to move a patient with a simulated leg fracture to a gurney for transport to a helicopter for medical evacuation during a mass casualty training event held at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 23, 2017. The 86th CSH held the MASCAL to assess the readiness of their medics, as well as supporting units including the military police, EMS, and fire fighters, also located at Camp Buehring.
