Brig. Gen. Clint E. Walker assumes command of the 184th Sustainment Command from Brig. Gen. David O. Smith during a change of command ceremony at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, October 15, 2017. Walker enlisted in the Mississippi Army National Guard in May 1985, gaining 32 years of service. His assignments have been various command and staff positions that included mobilization and deployments, as well as service during periods of state active duty for disaster response. “I have a history with the unit, so I’m very proud to be coming back home,” said Walker. “I know I have a great team that’s going to be put together and we’re going to go forward and be successful,” Walker stated.
