Salvadoran soldiers from the 5th Infantry Brigade stand ready for inspection by Salvadoran army Lt. Oscar Gomez and U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Hector Torres, 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade civil affairs officer, after disassembling their M-60 machine guns. Soldiers of the 130th MEB are supporting Guard units from around the country, including Air Force and Navy Seabee units, for Operation Beyond the Horizon 2011. The 4-month-long civic assistance and training exercise is helping build local Salvadoran Infrastructure, give U.S. soldiers valuable training and strengthen U.S.-Salvadoran relations.
