College engineering students on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers team brainstorm over questions prior to the "Deal or No Deal" round during the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference College Bowl Oct. 20 in Pasadena, Calif. The Great Minds in STEM's annual HENAAC Conference, which was Oct. 18 to 22 this year, is the organization's flagship event to celebrate Hispanic excellence in STEM. The Corps is one of several agencies and organizations that sponsor a team at the event.
