Tech Sgt. Mark Hilleren, 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, uses a Minehound after a familiarization class Oct. 29, 2017, at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, Miss. The Minehound is a dual-sensor metal detector that can detect metal and metal-free devices. The Airmen training today focused on non-metal items. The Guardsmen completed EOD training during Southern Strike 2018. The exercise's training is cost effective, realistic and adheres to the highest standards of training excellence.
