    U.S. Navy Utilitiesman 3rd Class Kyle Webb, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses a carpenter’s square to mark wood before cutting during K-span construction on Camp Shield, Okinawa, Oct. 30, 2017. NMCB 4 recently deployed to Okinawa as the forward deployed NMCB, ready to support Major Combat Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations. They provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces. Homeported out of Port Hueneme, Calif., NMCB 4 has 11 detached sites deployed throughout the United States and Western Pacific area of operations.
