Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, await a rollover inside the Humvee Egress Assistance Trainer waiting to start training at Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 4. HEAT is a simulated vehicle that weighs more than 8,000 pounds and helps Marines improve their techniques safely exiting a vehicle and evacuating a wounded service member after a Humvee has flipped over or landed on its side. CLB-11 is preparing for its upcoming deployment with 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
