PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII (September 11, 2017) The Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Nebraska (SSBN 739) passes by the USS Arizona and USS Missouri Memorials as the boat departs Pearl Harbor during an underway for training and proficiency. Nebraska is one of eight ballistic missile submarines stationed at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and recently completed an extended major maintenance period, including an engineered refueling overhaul, at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
