DUBAI WORLD CENTRAL AIRPORT, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – An airshow patron takes a photo of his friend posing in front of the CH-53E Super Stallion that is staged as a static display during the Dubai Airshow, Nov. 14, 2017. The CH-53E is the Marine Corps’ primary heavy-lift helicopter and supports the Marine Air-Ground Task Force commander by providing assault support transport of heavy equipment, combat troops, and supplies, day or night under all weather conditions during expeditionary, joint or combined operations. The Dubai Airshow is the premier aviation and air industry event in the Gulf/Middle East region, and U.S. military participation strengthens military-to-military relationships with regional partners.
