Iraqi army field artillery soldiers are midway through an eight-week training cycle, where the gun crews learn to properly emplace, fire and maintain the 155 mm Howitzer. U.S. and Iraqi leaders recently added the specialized field artillery course to supplement infantry and mortar training at KMTB as part of Tadreeb al Shamil.
