Col. Paul Kremer, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division acting commander, recognizes Brian Whitus, mechanical engineer, for his work in support of the new Construction Support Building at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The presentation took place at the building’s ribbon cutting ceremony Nov. 20, 2017. Whitus’ expertise and “can do” attitude were invaluable with the commissioning of all electrical and mechanical systems in the building. He worked with the contractor and stakeholders to ensure the project was completed on time. (USACE Photo by Leon Roberts)
