U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and 3rd Marine Division conduct fast rope training at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, November 28, 2017. Marines learned how to assist each other in descending a fast rope out of a MV-22B Osprey. Fast roping is a suitable way of inserting into an area of operation when landing an aircraft is not feasible.
