The first spillway is opened up at Dale Hollow Dam in Celina, Tenn., May 7. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is releasing water to maintain a storage capacdity at the dam while being careful to manage water downstream to alleviate the flooding underway on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.
