A distressed boat is seen with a notice advising the vessel has been identified for possible removal or pollution response action, Isleta Marina, Puerto Rico, Dec. 6, 2017. A team with the Hurricane Maria ESF-10 Puerto Rico response visited the marina to assess distressed vessels, locate owners, and evaluate possible environmental concerns surrounding salvage operations. The ESF-10 mission is offering no-cost options for removing vessels stranded by Hurricane Maria; affected boat owners are asked to call the Vessel Owner Outreach Hotline at (786) 521-3900 for the free assistance.
