Joint terminal attack controller Air Force Staff Sgt. Joshua Dickey and Airman 1st Class Alan Steinbrink, 807th Expeditionary Air Support Operation Squadron, fasten their seatbelts in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during cold-load training at Forward Operating Base, Spin Boldak, Afghanistan, May 5, 2011. Prior to conducting an air-assault mission in southern Afghanistan, the airmen and soldiers from Bravo Platoon, 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, familiarized themselves with the aircraft and landing procedures. Dickey, a Cleveland, Ohio, native is deployed from Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and Steinbrink is a Colorado Springs, Colo., native deployed from Vilseck, Germany.
