Christopher Goodrich, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Detachment Three Commander, and Mr. Somxai Kittanoivong, Director of America Division, Europe-Americas Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sit before signing the legal documents acknowledging a change of custody of possible remains from the Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) to the United States of America prior to a repatriation ceremony at the Vientiane International Airport, Lao PDR, Dec. 7, 2017. Possible remains connected to the Vietnam War are returned to the United States and examined for possible identification.
