Christopher Goodrich, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Detachment Three Commander, and Mr. Somxai Kittanoivong, Director of America Division, Europe-Americas Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sign legal documents acknowledging a change of custody for possible remains from the Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) to the U.S. prior to a repatriation ceremony at the Vientiane International Airport, Laos, Dec. 7, 2017. Possible remains connected to the Vietnam War are returned to the U.S. and examined for possible identification.
