Namibian police Explosive Control Unit Warrant Officer Tauno H. Nghiyoonanye
prepares electric firing circuits April 27 during the practical application phase of demolition initiation procedures in Namibia. The U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 11 from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is partnering with the Namibian defense forces EOD and Police Explosive Control Unit in support of the Humanitarian Mine Action program, in order to provide familiarization with International Mine Action Standards.
